2-1                     Ayano ISHIMARU          Knocking the Door

○ The Fateful Event        Natsumi SAKAI (3-3)

Have you ever experienced a “Fateful event”? This March, I went to the United States and visited a local high-school for two days as a member of the KAKEHASHI Project delegation. There I saw students who do not hesitate to do what they want to do and work on it with full of curiosity and eagerness. That was exactly what I was lacking. This is my “Fateful event” ,  and in fact, made me change my future plan. What is your dream? Please do not hesitate. And please discover your own “Fateful event”.

○ Knocking the Door        Ayano ISHIMARU (2-1)

Do you have a dream? Since I was deeply moved by a TV drama I watched, I have been interested in special needs education. Also, visiting a facility for persons with disabilities as a junior high-school student made my interest towards disabled people even stronger. This Summer, I want to achieve three goals to deepen my understanding towards special needs education. Why don’t you face something that you are interested in seriously, too? That may become the door to your dream.

Class                       Name                          Title

3-2                           Taisei YUYAMA            Hey Jude

1   Hey Jude             Taisei YUYAMA (3-2)

“Hey Jude” — a song that everybody knows by the Beatles. It is said that there are many stories behind the creation of this song. It is said that Paul made this song to cheer up John Lennon’s son Julian when John and Cynthia’s marriage came to an end. On the other hand, John says that (maybe because he was mad for Yoko Ono at that time) this is “a song for himself”. It is interesting that the interpretations differs even among the members. Every song must have its own story and interpretation. Why don’t you look into it yourself, too?
