The Iyo dialect can be categorized into three groups, Toyo (eastern area), Chuyo (middle area) and Nanyo (southern area). It was illustrated with specific examples that the Iyo dialect is very friendly sounding. Students exchanged ideas on typical Iyo dialect examples in a group discussion. \u201cTsukue wo kaku\u201d and \u201cIttekowai\u201d which are often used at school were introduced by many groups.<br \/>\nThe image of dialect has been changing from good and old local words to valuable tools in the cultural and economic fronts.
