This lecture\u2019s purpose is to foster student\u2019s work value and to learn how Ehime\u2019s fiber industry is connected to the world by listening to stories of craftsman\u2019s from different fields.<\/p>\n
First, they explained us about machines created by predecessors with their originality and creativity that supported Imabari\u2019s fiber industry. After that, they lectured about the history of Imabari\u2019s fiber industry, the challenge to revive as a production area again, and the stories of Imabari Towel\u2019s overseas promotion since 2009 when they started expanding globally, using examples and making it easy for us to understand.<\/p>\n
We learned about the importance of being thankful to the people who have taught you, and the power to strive from his experience from 50 years ago when he started working at the field and was being taught as a craftsman.<\/p>\n
