Let’s work on sensor network]

Personal computer isn’t the only computer. Small computers called microcomputer is installed in many products around you such as air conditioners and clinical thermometer as well as sensors that measure temperature and air pressure. Each group will be formed will a little number of people and they will use wireless communication devices and microcomputers loaded with all sorts of sensors to measure the environment around them. They will exchange their data to each other and transmit the information on twitter in real time.

[Let’s draw a graph on the computer]

Are you good at Mathematics? I imagine you are learning many different functions like quadratic function, cubic function, trigonometric function, and logarithmic faction. The first step to solving these problems is to understand the form of functions by drawing graphs of functions. In university, we sometimes study materials that cannot be solved with simple functions. In order to analyze these data, we have to be able to see them as graphs. Let’s draw many types of graphs using Microsoft Excel.

[Let’s start Processing]

Processing is a tool to write softwares that create image, animation, and interaction. If you want to draw a circle on the screen, the only thing you have to do is to write down a one line program. If you add a few lines to that program, the circle will start to move following the mouse pointer, and if you add another line, it will change its color every time you press the button. In this class, we will create a moving program by adding lines.

We gained knowledge and skills on forefront information that exceeds what we are currently learning in high-school by processing and editing all sorts of information using facilities and equipments for latest information. We have also deepened our understanding of the university’s facilities and environments which helped us to specifically imagine university life.

‘Iyo-education’ class Fall high-school and university cooperative education program, “Campus IT Class” … [Read more…]

[14

0":"entry","1":"post","2":"publish","3":"author-sgh","4":"post-9161","6":"format-standard","7":"category-news
["GET
