Hearing today\u2019s lecture, I realized the importance of turning our eyes to overseas. I feel like I won\u2019t get enough knowledge not only about electromagnetic waves, but the things that I\u2019m interested in without turning my eyes to the world. I really appreciate people who can risk themselves in order to complete or succeed in something such as Reverend Mr. King did. I want to go beyond Ehime prefecture and hold a wider perspective to see the world.<\/p>\n

I was moved by the passionate story. Even though I may not be able to live a life like Reverend Mr. King, I want to devote myself for someone else. I usually use my cell phone unintentionally, but I should be more aware that this device is connected to the world. I think we have to keep in mind that thanks to many people\u2019s effort, we now have electromagnetic waves which lets us use smartphones and the internet. I think we should support scientists and others just like they have been supporting our daily lives. I think the job for me now is to think how I could contribute in supporting them.<\/p>\n

Electromagnetic wave is deeply connected to our lives that it is now indispensable. We cannot keep relying on a portion of people, we have to start doing what we can on our own. I want to live my life without neglecting \u201cturning one\u2019s eyes to something new\u201d just like the lecturer said.<\/p>\n
I once again realized that the standard of how fast you can pass on or receive information, judging whether the information is a reliable source or not is up to myself. I want to keep this in mind because everything will be my own responsibility.<\/p>\n
