‘Ornamental Ash’<\/p>\n
We selected charcoals that are relatively dry and hard as the material for ‘Ornamental Ash’. It was the first time for me to make ‘Ornamental Ash’. I was able to lead the group when setting the fire using newspapers and branches. I wasn\u2019t sure if we could really make ‘Ornamental Ash’, but when we finally made it, it was speechless. When I held it in my hands, it was well dried and very delicate. There was a group that made a pencil into ‘Ornamental Ash’, and I’ve heard that only the lead remained.<\/p>\n

Charcoal burning and twist bread<\/p>\n
I think we enjoyed charcoal burning and twist bread making by working together in the group. Each group had their own unique way of preparing. While we were burning charcoal, we discover new aspects of our friend’s personality and I think we came to be closer than before. It was more \u201cdelicious\u201d and \u201cfun\u201d because we did this charcoal burring together with our classmates. It was the first time for me to make twist bread. I\u2019m really thankful that my friend who was in charge prepared it for us. It was hard to wrap the dough around the bamboo branch while also stretching it, but it was a heartwarming experience.<\/p>\n

I chose the word \u300c\u611b\u300d(E:love), because I could interact with love towards \u201cgroup members, friends from class, 10th graders, \u2018ash for the appreciation\u2019\u2026\u201d.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/p>\n
It is really rare to experience charcoal burning. It is a pity to keep this experience to myself. I strongly hope this experience will be passed on to many as possible and eventually penetrates all around the world. I want to keep in mind to start things on my own and to not leaving things to others.<\/p>\n
